 April 26th

We woke up early on the wednesday and headed straight for the PICU to see Zack. They said he was doing well and was happy and jabbering away. His face lit up when we got there. We sat there with him and waited for the drs to come round, they told us they were moving him to the KOALA ward which was a neurological ward. Again he had such lovely nurses who took care of him around the clock, we were allowed to leave him there at night and they looked after him. He smiled at all the nurses and was jabbering away more than ever. They obviously released all the pressure on his brain so he was now happier. Over the next day and a half we had many meetings with drs, nurses, physios and anethetists. He had to have lots of blood tests , seizure tests and heart monitor tests all ready for the operation he was about to have.
